|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0001408: Viewport object|
|Description||There should be the possibility to define viewport objects that draw certain parts of the landscape and the visible objects on its shape. See this thread for the original discussion:|
This could allow for cameras, mirrors, enterable buildings.
|Additional Information||Possible implementation/changes:|
- the rendering rountine is called two times: Once for the normal viewport, a second time to render stuff onto the viewport object.
- there could be a mask in the viewport object that defines what parts of its shape are displayed as viewport.

|I need this for my adventure scenario that should be ready in December. I'd try to implement it on my fork, would it have a chance to go into 7.0 or 7.1?|
|When it turns out to be a really save feature and all, we can have it in 7.1 I guess.|
