Summary0001341: Playing same sound repeatedly is not possible
DescriptionI want to play a sound with Sound("example") that takes for example 2 seconds, and I want to play the same sound again one second later. Then the second call and subsequent calls of Sound("example") have no effect. The sound gets played again only when the first sound is finished.

Also, creating multiple objects that play that sound does not change the behaviour. Is this intended, and if so, do we still need it that way? Also I saw that in Mortimers plugin for eclipse there is a parameter "multiple" in the Sound()-function that is not present in the docu. Did it get removed some time ago?

I remember some discussion on passing some flags to the last parameter of sound, allowing for multiple sounds. But I can't find that discussion any more. Maybe someone else remembers.

Yes, sounds are limited by allowing the same sound only once near the same location. I think this is because otherwise, simple things such as blasting rocks in a cave are unreasonably loud and don't sound that good.

The flag to play multiple exists, but is not exposed to the script interface iirc.

There is only one boom sound when you blast firestone material, although there are many explosions.
That's a weird behaviour.

Maybe there sould be a way to define how quick a sound can get repeated. (the boom sound is really long, but most of the time there is silence in this sound)

Sounds like this is intended behaviour. Removed Target Version.

Can we just expose that flag to the script interface then?
