Summary | 0001243: Scenario starts with a player in editor mode, without the command line parameter
Description | I start a scenario via commandline: [17:26:54] Command line: C:\Editing\Clonk\OpenClonk_Development\openclonk-debug.exe --editor Classic.ocf\Worlds.ocf\Goldmine.ocs and I expected that it would start without players. However, a player was initialized, see attached log.

I think you need to deactivate all players in the normal mode first. I like this behaviour. |

The way I work around it is by putting a non-existent player on the command line. E.g., I have a batch file I use to start any scenario in editor mode without players, containing: start D:/ochg/openclonk-release.exe --nonetwork %CD% noone.ocp This file I just copy into any scenario I am editing and then I can always start it by double-clicking that file (plus more files for testing with one or two players). |

So is this a problem, or can we close it? |

I don't know. We could change the default behaviour to not launch with players in editor mode. Or we introduce a flag like --noplayers to avoid the hack with nonexistant.ocp. Why exactly do you like the current behaviour? |

Cause eclipse does not support to specify the players and then I have to add player every I test something. The --noplayers flag sounds like a good thing. |

I also vote for a --noplayers flag |

Removed the target version for this one. |
