Summary0001184: Attached meshes and animations with AM_MatchSkeleton
DescriptionAt the moment it is possible to play animations simultaneously in a mesh and attached mesh with AM_MatchSkeleton.
In this case, the child uses the same bone transformations as the parent for all bones with the same name.

As Clonk-Karl pointed out, another approach may be better:

Another issue is animations looking strange when attaching and detaching meshes: Since the attached mesh changes from it's own animation to that of the parent in between two frames there may be an unnaturally looking effect.
Maybe some sort of blending between the parent and child animation is necessary to fix this.
