| Description | http://www.renderclonks.de/files/openclonk_NoTranslationKeyframes.patch [^] For animations where only the upper part of the body shall be involved it is necessary to separe the translation and the rotation to the body. The rotation shall be done by the ArmsAnimation, the translation of the WalkAnimation. The patch is an example of a animation that only contains rotation and scale parts of the BowAimArms animation. | |||||

The patch does not apply anymore. Can you update it, or just provide the whole skeleton file (it does not seem to be much bigger than the patch anyway)? |

I have attached an actual skeleton with the bow animations without translation of the body bone. |

I am sorry, this is not supported by the OGRE format. When a translation is omitted in Ogre XML then it is simply taken as 0,0,0. The OGRE binary format does not allow to omit translation at all. I hope you can work around this by using two bones, one for translation and one for rotation, and only providing keyframes for one of them in the two animations. |
